Encephalartos senticosus
Synonymy: None | Distribution: Northern KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa and adjacent Swaziland |
Common name: Unknown | Conservation status: Unknown |
One of a large family of highly collectable cycads from South Africa. All require bright light and well
drained soil, but plenty of water in dry weather. Fertlilize sparingly in summer when new leaves are
developing. Slow growing plants, the new leaves speed up the process and develop quickly, though
usually just once per year. Wonderful and ancient plants deserving a place in everyone's collection.
