Cycas siamensis

Synonymy: Epicycas siamensis, C. immersa, C. aurea, C. cochinchinensis Distribution: Central Thailand
Common name: Unknown Conservation status: Not threatened

This is surely a rare cycad of great interest to collectors. Dark green pinnate leaves and a trunk to perhaps 2m. Coming as it does, from areas with high annual rainfall, it requires a good supply of water and should never be allowed to dry out.
