Children's Environmental Trust, International
Children's Amazon and Costa Rican Rainforest Workshops has been established to promote education of middle and high school aged students to the needs and concerns of the world's rainforests, specifically the neo-tropical rainforests of Peru and Costa Rica. Academic Study includes a nine month pre-immersion study of the geography, ecosystem, and culture of the rainforests.

Earth Education Partnership Program (EEPP)
An international effort to bring issues of environmentally sustainable development into high school classrooms. The program promotes curriculum development and teacher training within regional clusters of participating schools, and school linkages between clusters.

Global Response
Action-oriented project to involve students in communicating about environmental issues. In 1998, GR is coordinating efforts on behalf of forests in Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Canada, and for protection of sea turtles in Mexico.

GreenCOM Resource Center
GreenCOM is a USAID environmental education and communications project working in developing countries. The objective of the resource center in Washington DC "is to facilitate information exchange and networking to help strengthen existing and future environmental education and communications programs."
