The bands are caused by three different staining techniques. a: Giemsa-staining (G-bands); b: Feulgen staining after a short hydrolytic treatment. Chromosomes of: 1. Anemone blanda, 2. Scilla sibirica, 3. Fritillaria lanceolata. (G. E. MARKS, 1983)
