Austria: Verzeichnis der in Österreich zugelassenen Pflanzenschutzmittel, authorised plant protection products in Austria, published by Federal Office and Research Centre for Agriculture (BFL), Vienna, Austria. The plant protection product database can be searched by: Product name, Registration No, Approval holder, Active substance, Organism, Function, Classification, Field of use, Crop/situation, and Pest. Also available is information on New authorisations, withdrawals and period of clearance sale. A must for users in Austria.

Germany: Verzeichnis zugelassener Pflanzenschutzmittel für Deutschland, Index of authorised plant protection products for Germany, published by the Federal Biological Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (BBA), Berlin and Braunschweig, Germany. Available: General information about this service, the complete register of permitted pesticides in Germany, Search the complete database, pesticide regulations. The database of plant protection products is browsable and searchable by trade name, registration number, active substance, and crop and/or harmful organism. Especially for users in Germany is this site a must. Available in German and English (there is a special help available in English).

Netherlands: Zoekpagina Bestrijdingsmiddelendatabank, Dutch register of plant protection products. Maintained by College voor de Toelating van Bestrijdingsmiddelen (CTB). The CTB has the duty of taking decisions on the admission of pesticides. There is some english information on the CTB site available. You can search the database by active substance (Werkzame Stof) and narrow your search by selecting the status or group of action. Although most of the information is in Dutch it is not difficult to understand the pages.

United States of America: Pesticide Data Sources, Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), EPA, USDA. Here you will find (1) Pesticide Products Databases, (2) Pesticide Data Submitters List, (3) Pesticide Product Information System (PPIS), (4) Pesticide Product Label System (PPLS) as well as a link to NPIRS. The Pesticide Products Databases are maintained by OPP and the California Department of Pesticide Regulation and is including Registered and Cancelled Pesticide Product Database, Chemical Ingredients Database and Company Information Database.
