Fungal Genetic Stock Center (FGSC), Department of Microbiology, Univiversity of Kansas Medical Center. National Clonal Germplasm Repository - NCGR Temperate Fruit Genebank, Corvallis, Oregon, US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service. The Corvallis Repository maintains collections representing global diversity of hazelnuts, strawberries, hops, mint, pears, currants, gooseberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and cranberries. Cultivars (clones) are stored as growing plants, while wild species are generally preserved as seed.

National Entomological Collections, USNM, National Museum of National History, Smithsonian Institute, Department of Entomology. The collections include more than 30 million specimens. World Federation for Culture Collections (WFCC), a network of specialist microbiologists. The WFCC is a Multidisciplinary Commission of the International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS) and a Federation within the International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS). The WFCC is concerned with the collection, authentication, maintenance and distribution of cultures of microorganisms and cultured cells.Available Information: About WFCC, WFCC information document, congresses, mailing list.
