An obscure but attractive palm from New Guinea which deserves wider attention. Low light tolerant, an
ideal choice for the shaded plant-conservatory where it will require plenty of water and a good rich loamy
soil. An unusual palm, with wedge-shaped leaflets and a slim trunk.
