Examinations

The midterm examination must be postmarked no later than Thursday, May 4.

The final examination must be postmarked no later than Monday, June 12.

Students taking Biological Sciences 10 for academic credit must take the above examinations which are administered by trusted proctors. You need to find a proctor for your examinations. If you do not wish academic credit, it is not necessary to take the examinations or identify a proctor.

Examples of appropriate proctors include:

  • Supervisor or Human Resources personnel from your place of employment
  • Librarians (from public, corporate, high school or college/university libraries)
  • Instructors (high school/college/university)
  • Notary Public
  • Guidance and/or Career Counselor (high school/college/university)
  • Cooperative Extension personnel, County Farm Advisors

Not all individuals in the positions listed above are necessarily willing to serve as an examination proctor. None are officially affiliated with our program and have no obligation to provide proctoring services. You should certainly thank anyone willing to serve in this capacity. Some individuals may charge a nominal fee for their services. It is the student's responsibility to pay this fee.

If you have difficulties finding a proctor, please contact Kaddie Kandola at (530) 757-8552 or e-mail her.

Examinations are sent directly to these proctors who will administer them. They will mail them back to us in a postage-paid envelope that we provide.

Examples of inappropriate proctors are:

  • Relatives
  • Friends
  • Neighbors
  • Co-workers (except as listed above)
