REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BIOLOGY MINOR
The Biology Minor requires three introductory courses in Biology (Bio 296A, Bio 297A and Bio 3051) and two introductory courses in Chemistry (Chem 111A-112A). Chem 111A must be completed prior to enrollment in Bio 296A. Chem 112A must be taken concurrently with or prior to Bio 296A and must be completed prior to enrollment in Bio 297A. Students minoring in biology are recommended but not required to take Chem 151 concurrently with Chem 111A, and Chem 152 concurrently with Chem 112A. Chem 151 and 152 are laboratories designed to complement material in Chem 111A and 112A, respectively.

GRADES
All courses utilized for the Biology minor (including Chem 111A-112A) must be taken for a letter grade if a letter grade is offered. A grade of C- or better must be earned in all of these courses.
