Developmental Biology: Neural regeneration; wound healing (epidermal cell migration); hormonal control of tissue remodeling (amphibian metamorphosis)
I am currently studying the effects of various factors (i.e., growth factors) on the outgrowth and regeneration of nerves in the peripheral nervous system. In previous work I have studied aspects of would healing (epidermal cell migration) and have also investigated the hormonal control of amphibian metamorphosis.
