The proteins of vegetable origin play the vital role in the solution of the feed grade protein problem. To obtain 1 kg of animal origin protein 10 kg vegetable origin protein is needed. The reason for it is the unbalance of aminoacid of plant and animal proteins and the presence of the digestive inhibitors (trypsin and hymotrypsin). With the help of experimental mutagenesis (-rays and 0, 1% solution of ethylmetane sulphonate) mutant forms of tare (Vicia picta Fish. Et May.) With decreased activity of the trypsin inhibitors (in 3 times) were obtained. The activity of trypsin inhibitors, their fractional composition as well as the dynamics of the inhibitory activity during the plant development were studied in seeds and green mass of Vicia picta mutant forms. The coefficient of inheritance of trypsin inhibitory activity in those mutant forms (M3) was 70%. There is shown the possibility of the use of mutant forms with the lower content of trypsin inhibitors in the breeding of commercial that provides a more complete use of proteins by animals.
