XVI International Botanical Congess

In the frame of the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra is carried out development of information system TAXONDATA. The main aim of system is to process specialized databases of plant species to study system of plant empire and intraspecific diversity. The background of the system is taxonomical classification of seed plants. Individual plant species are presented as a texts and images. For cultivated species is into system included presentation of intraspecific variability on the level of varieties and hybrids. Information system is prepared for participants of distance education and other forms of study. Information system is possible to use in research and extension service.
