A STUDY ON THE LIQUID STEEP FERMENTATION OF THE TERMITOMYCUS FULIGINOSU

Xiao-dong Zheng & Xin-ai Chen, Dept.of Food Sci. & Tech., Zhejiang Agri. Univ., Hangzhou, China, 310029.

The influence of KH2PO4, tryptone, crude brown sugar on Termitomycus fuliginosu hypha forming was studied through the method of a current, rotational and combinational design of quadratic regression on the basis of determination of the fermentation cycle in the article. A quadric regression model of biomes yield to the doses of three factors above was established. The model is significantly fit well and the optimum combination was, therefore, obtained. The responses of the biomass yield to all three single factors and their interactions were discussed. When the fermentative medium is composed of 4g of KH2PO4 per liter, 1g of tryptone per liter, 72g of crude brown sugar per liter, the cell biomass yield is pretty high.
