HORMONAL COMPLEX OF ALISMA PLANTAGO-AQUATICA PLANTS GROWING IN DIFFERENT MOISTENING CONDITIONS.

Alisma plantago-aquatica L. are riverside and lakeside plants (water growing plants, WGP). But they can grow and normally develop on land (land growing plants, LGP) as well when rivers and lakes get dry due to anthropogenic influence. The qualitative and quantitative composition of endogenous phytohormones was studied. Under various conditions of moistening the qualitative composition of the plant hormonal complex remains similar, however, the levels of individual components are different. ABA content is high in LGP while only small amounts of conjugated ABA were found in WGP. IAA, zeatin and zeatin riboside and conjugated forms of gibberellins are predominant in WGP while the content of those hormones in LGP is low and the conjugated IAA and free gibberellins prevail. Regardless of the growing conditions, inflorescences are characterized by higher levels of phytohormones than leaves.
