XVI International Botanical Congess
The bark anatomy of annual stalks, perrenial brunches and trunks in 3 Ligustrina Rupr. species and 14 Syringa L.species was studied. We aimed to reveal features, confirming expediency of consideration them as independent species. It was shown that structure of secondary phloem stereoms (consisting of only sclereids in Lingustrina and mainly of fibres in Syringa) are important for taxonomic purposes.
