Population status of Orchis purpurea L. in ecosystems of oak sparse forests in the northern macroslope of Crimean mountains was studied. In every community the determination of rate, occurrence, vitality and age structure of Orchis purpurea L. population was carried out. Control population (without any visible human impact) has the highest indices of rate, occurrence, vitality of vegetative and generative spheres and completeness of all age groups. Under recreational press the decrease of population rate is almost two times and sharp decrease of vitality are noted. Under grazing and hay mowing not only rate and vitality get broken, but also age structure degrades that deprives the species of the normal proceeding of reproduction process.
