Baikalskii Biosphere Reserve (200 000 ha) is situated in the Khamar-Daban Mountains, on southern coast of the Baikal Lake (51?30'N, 105?E). A preliminary checklist of the lichens of the Reserve included 130 species (Trass, 1986). At present lichen flora of the Baikalskii Reserve comprises 470 species from 752 species known data from Baikal Mountain Region. Most of the lichens have centers of distribution in the boreal (27%) or temperate zones (24%). The arctic-alpine lichens (16%) take third position. The data obtained (including annotated list of lichens and discussion) will be published in separately book.
