Soybean plants cv. Clark-63 were grown in sandy loam soil culture, fertilized with either 16 or 24 Kg P2O5/fed. in addition to 60 kg N/fed. The plants were sprayed with 5x10 2ppm CuSo4, 10 3ppm(NH4)2Moo4 or the mixture of cu + Mo . It was found that plants fertilized with higher level of P2O5 in combination with mixture of Mo and Cu gave highest vegetative growth, dry matter accumulation, nodule formation, nitrogen uptake, photosynthetic pigments content and stability of chlorophyll. The yield of seeds and its crude protein content also increased. It was concluded that foliar sprayed with Mo, Cu and especially thier mixture may increase the efficiency of phosphorous utilization in increasing growth and yield of soybean plants.
