Sino-himalayan floristic elements is one of the most important elements of forming E Asia flora which includes rich genera and species, most of which formed the diversity center in SW China. Though studying and analyzing the distribution and dispersal patterns of Helwingia, Aucuba, Dysosma, Schefflera, Leycesteria, Piptanthus, Rodgersia, composition group of species Spiraea japonica and relative characteristic groups. With considering the events of geological history in the region, it showed that the Sino-himalayan elements come from mainly four directions, which are S E Asia, North temperate when the Quartary glacial coming, Tethys after late Tertiary when it withdrew and Indo-malayan. Because of rich origination of the flora, as well as complicated ecological environment and various habitats, many groups got good development and differentiation and formed their diversity centers such as Primula, Corydalis, Pedicularis, Rhododendron and many others, also evolved into many endemic genera, even family, and a lot of endemic species. Also some Sino-himalayan elements are the original elements of the vicinity of the region such as Indo-Malaya tropical mountains, Taiwan, Japan etc.
