Genetic variability in RAPDs was studied in 74 accessions represented 20 species with different ploidy level. 15 primers generated 56 scorable amplification products. Cluster analysis was carried out on the matrix of DICE coefficient with the UPGMA-method. Accessions of different species were discriminated obviously by their genome constitution and ploidy level. Diploids consisted of two clusters united variants of A-genome (As,Al,Ac) and C-genome (Cv, Cp) species respectively. Tetraploids were divided into two clusters formed by AB- and AC-genome species. Hexaploids demonstrated the lowest polymorphism by RAPD-markers. Amplification products specified for A-,B- and C-genome respectively were revealed. These characters could be used as genome markers in further investigation of genus Avena.
