At the time of quickly spreading use of molecular criteria in the Umbelliferae taxonomy, morphological (s.l.) and especially carpological analysis does not lose its value for delimitation of genera and other taxa. We have studied anatomical structure of fruit in more than 750 sp., petiole anatomy in 400 sp., stomatal types in 450 sp. in connection with their taxonomy.
