Biology of growth, process of development and biochemical composition of the fruit of Actinidia Kolomikta (Rupr.et Maxim). Maxim has been studied in the Urals, one of the most industrial areas of Russia. Actinidia can be widely used for landscaping, gardening, food production, medicine. In the course of this study we have developed theoretical and technological basis of reproduction of Actinidia and cultivated chemosorts containing elements which enrich blood, strengthen blood vessels, have P-vitamins in big amounts. Screening of Actinidia in order to find substances which help people to adapt and survive in mutagen areas is in process now. For this purpose we cultivate the most promising species in the Urals Curative Plant Garden.
