XVI International Botanical Congess
Analysis of our own and literature data on pollen morphology of the Lilianae (LM, SEM) allows to clarify systematic position of the genera Glyphosperma and Paradisea. Complex of palynomorphological features (large spheroidal monosulcate nonoperculate pollen with tectate reticulate exine) reveals similarity of the Glyphosperma with general of the Asphodeleae (Asphodelaceae). This was established that semitectate macroreticulate exine with >crotonoid= muri and sulcus structure in the Paradisea are close to those of the Ornithogalium (Hyacinthaceae) or some Liliaeae genera.
