As a results of distant hybridisation of wheat plants first backcrosses observated, as a rule, low ovariation of hybrids seeds (from 3 to 15%). Essentiality of pollen grain growth, fertilization and development of hybrids seeds BC1 in combinations of T. timopheevii Zhuk. x T. durum Desf. (the cultivars of Kharkovskay 46, Melanopus 26, Amber 2) is studing. The investigations indicated that 76,36% ovary of hybrids plants F1 don=t have in embryo sacs oosphaeres, sinergids, central nucleuses and antipods - on its place usually are formed structureless tissue with inclusions of nucleuses incorrect forms, which later is resolved. Such embryo sacs don't vitality, its are overdrown by connective tissue and ovaryes are die off, that results to harsh lowering persentage of ovariation in BC1. The problems of using embryological methods for decision of task rise of effectivity of work by distant hybridisation discussed.
