Pericarp is differentiated into outer thin epidermal zone, followed by middle multilayered parenchymatous zone consisting intercellular spaces and mucilage canals, followed by 1-2 layered compact inner zone. Seed coat membranous. Embryo dicotyledonous embedded in endosperm tissue. It is compared with fruits of Tiliaceae, Malvaceae, Sterculiaceae, Sapindaceae and reported fossil fruits but could not be compared in toto with any genera.
