ON ADAPTATION OF FRUITS TO DESERT CONDITIONS

The fruits have complex adaptive feature characterised for certain conditions of habitat. In the present study these adaptations are revealed on the basis analysis of fruit characters: types of fruit, their consistence, size, weight and shape, the presence of pubescent and wings, mechanism of dehiscence, number of seed in fruit. Such characters as dryness, indehiscence, olygospermous, streamlined fruit with wings and other emergences are prevailed in the Kyzylkum desert area. These features are determined predominance of wide spectrum of different specialization in forms of anemochorous dissemination way in desert.
