CONTRIBUTION TO KNOWLEDGE OF EVOLUTION AND FILOGENESIS OF THE TRITICUM L. GENUS

P.A.Ghandilyan, Armenian Agricultural Academy, Yerevan, Armenia

Triticum urartu, Thum.ex Gandil.,genom Au,T.boeoticum Boiss./Ab/,representatives of the Aegilops L.genus of the Sitopsis section /B and G/and Ae.tauschii Coss /D/ are the diploid donors /2n=28/ of poliploid species of triticum L.genus. On the grounds of existing data using archeological explorations it is considered that the principal ways of the origin of polyploid species of Triticum L. genus are following:1)Tetraploid wheat (2n=28): a)T.dicoccoides Shuebl.and the cultivated emmer group (T.durum Dest) between Au and B genomes (AuAuBB), b)T.araraticum Jakubz.and cultivated T.timopheevii Zhuk.between Ab and G genomes (AbAbGG), c)speltoi type T.erebuni Gandil.(DDAuAu)and T.boeoticotauschicum Gandil.(AbAbBB). 2)Hexaploid (2n=42)what:a)allohexaploids from crossings between AuAuBB x DD (T.aestivum group), b)AbAbGG x AbAb,T.Zukovskyi Men.et Er.(AbAbAbAbG) c)introgressive and stable allohexaploids from crossings between AuB emmers and existing speltoid type tetraploids (T.spelta,T.aestivum).
