Endimic spiece -- Helianthemum songaricum distribute islandly in Mediterranean area, central-Asia, XinJiang, Inner Mongolia .Based on many years field observation, we found that the fragment of Helianthemum songaricum populations serious, and have obvious geogrophical reproductive isolation among them. The abundance center of the genue is in Mediterranean area, Helianthemem songaricum in this area has basic and primitive stripe ornamentation, chromosome is 2n=10,18,20,22.In XinJiang area, Helianthemum songaricum still has stripe ornamentation, with chromosome 2n=20, but in Inner Mongolia, ornamentations succeed to punctal , chromosome is teraploid, 2n=40. We study the populations in Inner Mongolia, and found that pollination are very different among populations, and have micor-apore stile in porportion. At the same time, there are obsortive embryo in varity shape. Because of hard tasta and poor in water tranlateing, the rate of seed budding is very low. So we can conclude there are distinct divercity and viration among Helianthemum songaricum populations.
