R.I. Burda, Dept. of Natural Flora, Donetsk Botanic Gardens, Donetsk, 340059, Ukraine

Florogenetic process is considered at the example of industrial cities: Slavyansk, Donetsk, Lugansk, Mariupol. The total floristic list includes 1200 species of three categories or 60% of the regional flora (collected by the author in 1976-1997, identified in Herbariums - KW, DNZ, DCU, CWB, LE, mentioned in the publications of all the period of botanical investigations since 1768). The main parts of native species are palearctic (26%), european (10%), from the Black Sea area (22%). They are arranged to a degree of occurrence: everywhere - 23%, usual in specific ecotopes 38%, sporadic - 21%, rare - 8%, solitary - 8%, apparently disappeared - 2%. The alien fraction is presented by euneophytes - 102, neophytes - 46 and archeophytes - 94 species. Urban flora differs from the regional Eastern Ukrainian one by the impoverished specific composition, simplified ecological, phytocenotic and geographic structure. The specific diversity distribution is mosaic and grows in directions - settlements - industrial wastes - cultural phytocenoses - fragments of natural vegetation.
