A.N.Berkutenko, Institute of Biological Problems of the North Portovaja str., 18 Magadan 685000 Russia

Continuous mountain ranges connect Tibet and Himalayas with uplands of North Asia which suggests similarity of some floristic elements of these mountain systems. Recent taxonomic revisions revealed identity of the following species (priority names in capital letters): HEDINIA TIBETICA (THOMS.)OSTENF., H.mongolica (Kom.)Veliczkin, H.altaica Pobed.and H.czukotica (Botsch.et Petrovsky) Balandin,Korobkov et Jurtzev, MEGADENIA PYGMAEA MAXIM., M.bardunovii M.Pop.and M.speluncarum Vorobiev,Woroshilov et Gorovoi,BRAYA ROSEA BUNGE and B.tibetica Hook.et Thoms., B.SILIQUOSA BUNGE and B.sinuata Maxim.,APHRAGMUS INVOLUCRATUS(BUNGE)O.E.SCHULZ and Eutrema przewalskii Maxim. Rhododendron adamsii Rehd is pointed out for East Siberia,Russian Far East and Mongolia. In Flora Xizangica(1986)Rh.adamsii is given as the synonym of Rh.primalaeflorum Bur.et Franch.described from Tibet. Revision of latter species and Rh.anthopogon D.Don,Rh.anthopoginoides Maxim. and Rh.cephalanthum Franch. is required.
