XVI International Botanical Congess

Our young State, Ukraine was born in 1991, faced problems of ecology and preservation of environment/ The terrible accident on Chernobyl atomic power station showed that decision of these questions are of vital importance. This problems and their solutions are on the first plan on the state level. One of the main problems is preservatin of the rare and disappearing plant in nature. Was created Ukrainian Red book of the rare plants. Laws base was created to control the ecological situation in the country. Our report present some results, which were recieved during scientific investigation, quality and quantity composition, estimation of population structure characteristic of rare and disappearing plants Analysys of changes in widening of rare plants are represented. Gene pool protection and ecological education are discussed.
