Alla Kojhevnikova, Olga Adrianova, Kostomuksha Nature Reserve, Karelia, 186989, Russia

The territory of the Kostomuksha Nature Reserve (KNR) was slightly investigated up to the moment of its foundation. Flora of KNR is typically boreal and is very poor. During our investigations 17 species of vascular plants, mosses, lichens and fungi rare for Russia and Karelia were registred: Woodsia alpina, Isoetes setacea, I.lacustris, Carex livida, Dactylofhiza traunsteineri,Humulus lupulus, Hypericum perforatum, Epilobium hornemannii, Myriophyllum verticulatum, Littorella uniflora, Lobelia dortmanna, Sphagnum subnitens, Lobaria pulmonaria, Brioria fremontii, Stereocaulon dactylophyllum, Hericium coralloides, Leccinum percandidum. Some of them have numerouse populations in the KNR, some others are more or less rare in KNR. Dependance of their viability on water and air pollutions will be discussed.
