THE RELATIONSHIP AMONG TYPES OF SOILS AND BOTANICAL SPECIES OF SMALL DEGRADED AREAS OF THE RAIN TROPICAL FOREST IN BRAÇO DO NORTE (SC), BRASIL

This work was accomplished in UNISUL Agronomy's area, placed in 3,95 acres area, Cfa Koeppen climate, 85% air relative humidity and 20C air temperature. The objective was related to the occurrence of vegetable species in different soil types. Three types of soils/vegetable were identified: i) Humic Cambisols, cultivated during decades: Vernonia, Brachiaria, Cyperus, ii) Dystric Nitosol, cultivated more than 20 years in rest, with formation of secondary forests in the embroideries and herbaceous in the center: Acacia, Solidago, Baccharis, Plantago, Rollinia, Casearia, Syagrus, Piper, including two exotic species, Citrus and Eucalyptus, also in the embroideries, iii) Dystric Gleysol, humid soils: Ageratum, Heimia, Ludwigia, Commelina.
