This paper deals with integrative analysis of systematics based on pheno-genotypic characters of the Umbilicariaceae. The analysis includes two steps. For the first step the delimitation of the family, genera, and species of the Umbilicariaceae using multiple phenotypic characters from different angles and the different levels were discussed. For the second step the comparison of genotypic features was used in order to remove the convergence in the evolutionary system. It seems that the comprehensive analysis of systematics using visible sets of characters is the best method for the classification of the Umbilicariaceae. The result of the combined analysis of phenotypic and genotypic features shows that the comprehensive analysis applies not only to the taxonomic, but also to phylogenetic researches.
