GENETIC MARKERS IN WINTER WHEAT IDENTIFICATION

A.S. Absattarova (Dept Of Biochemical Genetics Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture Kazakhstan)

To support diversity in nature it is necessary the preservation of polymorphysm of genetic system. More polymorphycal genetic system is genetic system of wheat storage protein. Genetic control of biosynthesis of this protein at common wheat have been studied. High multiple allelism was found for gliadin loci. This polymorphysm is very useful for identification of wheat genotypes and as breeding and selection tool for improvement a lot of agronomic traits. For this purpose genetic variation in gliadins was studied in Kazakhstan, American, Russian, Turkey winter wheat varieties and breeding lines by PAGE. The results of experiments show high polymorphism some Kazakhstan winter wheat varieties: Zernokormovaya 50, Progress, Bogarnaya 56.
