RESTORATION POTENTIAL OF STEPPE PASTURES FLORA

Shevchuk Oksana Donetsk Botan. gard. Illich's Avenue,110,340059 Donetsk,Ukraine

The assessment of flora's restoration potential is necessary for prognostication of its further development. The most important index for evaluation of the potential is a species successional status. It is defined by its place and phytocenotic role in the whole complex of rows of digressive and restoration vegetation changes. In the south-east of Ukraine the flora of pastures embraces steppe, meadow and saline communities. On the basis of the developed scheme of species habitats and classification of a species successional status the restoration potential of the most distributed ravine steppe pastures on the black soils were established. In this flora species-differentiators of final stages (38%) prevail, which testifies to a significant degree of communities transformation.20% of species-pioneers witness about the potential for restoration.
