MOLECULAR SYSTEMATIC OF NEMATOPHAGOUS HYPHOMYCETES

The molecular systematic of 68 isolates representing 32 species of Arthrobotrys and allied genera were investigated by nuclear DNA-RAPD,rDNA-RFLP and sequence analysis. RAPD method is useful for distinguishing ecological groups of intraspecies. The species of Arthrobtrys and Dactylella were clustered into two claddes by rDNA-RFLP of ITS region.Sequence analysis in the ITS region of the ribosomal DNA showed that Arthrobotrys is farther related to Monacrosporium and Dactylella, with more than 50% difference of sequence from ITS4 to ITS1,while Monacrosporium is closely related to Dactylella with about 20% difference. Trinacrium iridis, Dactylella iridis, Dactylella ramiformis and Dactylella multiformis were proven to be a single species by means of the three molecular techniques.
