CAJ, A DATABASE SYSTEM FOR CHROMOSOME INFORMATION USING THE INTERNET

CAJ, the Chromosome Atlas of Japan, is a database system designed for chromosome images and descriptive data using the Internet. The aim of the system is the exchange chromosome related information rapidly among researchers. The system consists of the image database, text database and WWW servers on the personal computers. It has been developed by the Chromosome Link, a world wide research group to analyze plant chromosomes. The system is still under development, and is running at the web site on trail.
