American Nature Study Society
Nature Study, the ANSS Journal, contains in-depth articles on environmental education, related issues and book reviews. ANSS also hosts annual workshops and sponsors two awards to recognize outstanding environmental educators and authors.

The National Association for Humane and Environmental Education offers annual awards to a teacher, classroom and children's book author.

Chevron Corporation
Chevron currently focuses its giving in the areas of math and science education (K-12) ($2.2 million in '97), and environmental conservation (1.9 million in '97), with an emphasis on habitat preservation, wildlife protection, and environmental education programs.

Conservation Education Initiative - National Fish and Wildlife Foundation
"gives educators access to conservation materials and programs, encourages youth to pursue conservation careers, funds community-based conservation programs, and supports leadership training for conservation professionals ... also focuses on bringing conservation education to typically underserved, multicultural communities.

EPA Environmental Education Grants Program  Popular!
The Environmental Protection Agency awards $2-3 million annually, as small grants (<$25,000, administered regionally) and large grants (up to $250,000, administered in Wash DC).

Florida State Office of Environmental Education  Popular!
"The Office of Environmental Education (OEE) and the Environmental Educational Regional Service Projects (RSPs) were established in 1989 through the Florida Environmental Education Act. We guide and coordinate five Regional Service Projects (RSPs) throughout Florida which broker and coordinate resources and provide information and assistance to educators within each region.

Toyota/NSTA Tapestry Grants
