Three varieties, caribaea , bahamensis and hondurensis .

Syn. for var. caribaea : Pinus recurvata Rowlee 1903; P. cubensis Grisebach var. anomala Rowlee 1903 (1).

Syn. for var. bahamensis : Pinus bahamensis Grisebach 1864 (1).

Syn. for var. hondurensis : Pinus hondurensis Sénéclauze 1868; Pinus hondurensis Loock 1950 non Sénéclauze (1).
