Description

"Stems up to 20 cm, prostrate to ascending, branched, green to yellowish. Leaves 1.2-2.5(-3.5) mm; teeth triangular, subacute to obtuse, concave. Male inflorescence 7-9 mm, oblong-ovoid. Female inflorescence c. 8 mm, ovoid-globose. Fruit c. 8 mm, globose, red to purplish; seeds 4-6 mm" (1).

Range

Tierra del Fuego; N in Argentina to 42° S and in Chile to 51° S (1).
