1. Initials. A pair of cells consisting of an epidermal cell and the cell below it; 2., 3. Anticline divisions.; 4. Pericline division; 5., 6. Increasing size of the glandular tissue; 7. End of the cell divisions; 8., 9. Beginning formation of the cavern, resolving of the cell walls in the centre of the gland; 10. Finished cavern (filled with essential oils). (A. BOSABALIDES, I.
